I developed my cookery courses to help those of you who would love to be able to cook better meals for yourself, your partner or your family, but lack the confidence to do so
I was very lucky that I learnt to cook from my mother who is a wonderful cook. I spent a lot of time with her in the kitchen from a very young age. With a solid foundation of knowledge from my mother and from my schooling I went on to acquire further skills that enable me to prepare lovely easy-to-cook meals and give me no end of satisfaction.
My perfect day is spent in the kitchen, making anything from bread, jams and chutneys or preparing a meal to share with friends and family.
I am passionate about using fresh ingredients; I grow and use my own fruit and vegetables. I also keep a flock of chickens in the garden so that we always have a ready supply of eggs. They are often still warm when I collect them; it’s hard to get any fresher than that!
In addition to cooking for friends and family I am now having fun preparing new cookery courses for the people of Hampshire and anyone who wants to visit us from further afield.
